Welcome to the Torrance Office.

As the closest branch to Los Angeles, the Torrance office serves as the link for those in the Downtown LA area who want to bank with F&M.  From its central location across from the Del Amo Mall, the Torrance branch is convenient to LAX, the beach cities, and Los Angeles Harbor. A dedicated member of the city's Chamber of Commerce, this branch is also a proud supporter of the YMCA and Switzer Center School & Clinical Services. Since opening its doors on February 12, 2003, the branch has retained a majority of its original employees, including Operations Manager Bonnie Beloussow, Operations Specialist Christine Caceres, and Lending Specialists Nancy Miller and Luh Metra. The Torrance office and its dedicated employees continue to provide exceptional customer service from the heart of the South Bay.

My name is Ned Stromme and I have the distinct pleasure of managing the Farmers & Merchants Bank (F&M) Torrance office. I began my career in the banking business as a management trainee filing checks. Now, more than three decades later, I have the privilege of managing my own office. I am passionate about investing my time as a volunteer with the North Torrance High School Mentoring Program, providing counsel to young people on making wise career and life decisions. I am also proud to be part of the Torrance Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club, the Switzer Center, and the Family Crisis Center.

More than thirty years of banking experience combined with my bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Arizona University has enabled me to play an instrumental role in F&M’s growth and, most importantly, assist customers with all of their banking needs. The F&M family is unlike any other bank I have worked for. The Bank genuinely cares about its employees and customers and I am proud to work with an institution that is truly built on the values of honesty and integrity. My fondest memory with F&M is the daily interactions and warm environment of this family-owned bank. Working with these wonderful individuals inspires me to do my best every day.

Please call or stop by our office and introduce yourself.  I welcome the opportunity to meet you.

My name is Phil Sblendorio and I have the distinct pleasure of serving as Regional Manager of the Downtown Long Beach, Torrance and Rolling Hills offices of Farmers & Merchants Bank (F&M). Starting as a Teller with F&M almost 30 years ago, I now have the privilege of being a Regional Manager. It is an honor for me to be a part of the F&M family and work alongside Henry, Daniel and Kenneth Walker. I am proud to be a part of the Redondo Library Foundation, Torrance YMCA, Del Amo Rotary Club, and the Bixby Knolls Parking Association. I also enjoy spending time with my family.

Decades of banking experience and extensive college coursework has enabled me to play an instrumental role in F&M’s growth and, more importantly, invest my time and energy in assisting customers with their banking needs. Helping people identify their financial goals and objectives within the framework of the bank is what motivates me every day. I have so many memories from my time at F&M, but my fondest F&M memory was bailing water off the Main office roof with Ken Walker in our tweed suits.
